A week off?!?

I’ve had a really crazy week at work (teacher at report deadline week!). It means I’ve not run since last Saturday and won’t be able to go again until tomorrow. Shall I just move on or repeat a run? I did w5r2 on Saturday? Advice from experienced folk please x

You will not loose much fitness in the first 2 weeks .Personally I would just go out and do the next run in line .

Make sure your hydrated , keep it slow and enjoy 😁

I last ran on Saturday too… we will be just fine tomorrow… slow and steady as we go and huge grins at the finish line. Have a great one.

I had a week off when I had a bad cold and carried on where I left off. It was fine. If anything your muscles will have benefitted from the rest but not lost fitness in a week. Just take it steady.

You won’t get any advice from me just sympathy and admiration. To hold down a teaching job and all that it entails is amazing and then to add Couch to 5K into the mix is incredible to me. I had to wait for retirement before I could contemplate attempting the programme. Well done to you and all who are wading through report writing. I don’t miss it!

For a week, just continue where you left off.
