Iβm still enjoying my consolidation runs ππ½ββοΈπ
Did a nice hilly (ok they were slopes!) one today.
First time Iβve run in a week and I had to slow right down to a brisk walk 3 times. Iβm not beating myself up about it-but I am surprised what no exercise has done to my body!
I usually exercise 4/5 days a week so doing none has hit me!
My week off did include a two hour hike-with a lot of sitting and eating the wrong things π
Weβve been to Wales π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ (from Kent) and whilst my daughter exercised well on climbing walls and orienteering, I didnβt π
Sometimes we need a break... and a two hour hike is no picnic, even if it was π€£
I find that after a little time off itβs the pacing that goes, so I also take little walk breaks on my comeback run... it clicks again real soon, and the fitness is still there.
