After two days rest (I had a bit of a backache yesterday) I finally got out there for my next run of my Couch to 5K journey, zombie version.
(Apps I run with during this journey are all laid out in this post healthunlocked.com/bridgeto... )
The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect, and I even did the dynamic calf stretches at the beginning of my route; the ones we learned as part of our collective James Dunne 30-day-improve-your-running-challenge. That is happening over at the Strength and Flex forum currently ( healthunlocked.com/strength... ) but the specific stretch is also on YouTube at tinyurl.com/3j5xutjv
This run - whilst in the storyline annoying a tethered Zombie with my knee lifts - included 5 rounds of one min walking, one minute running, and 10 knee lifts.
Then two sections of eight minutes free-form run-walking divided by a stretching section.
So I can, for the first time in my life, state that I have terrorised a Zombie with my knee lifts in the name of science!
Keep on keeping on, everyone, wether you run with Zombies, fellow runners or just your lovely running self!
Happy Easter
