Week 7 run 3

I was up early yesterday to bright sunshine and quick glance at the trees tells me the wind of two days ago that hindered my last run has disappeared- hooray! I find the loop (around the fields planted with Oilseed rape and past the village pub and post office) to be a good mix of flat with some short inclines and one hill to be just enough of a challenge. I am feeling good and try to maintain a slightly quicker pace. The birdsong is wonderful at this time of day and reminds to keep a spring in my step. 25mins done. Enjoyed that. Back to holiday cottage for last bath with a view (overlooking the Suffolk landscape) and then it’s time to pack up and return home. Onwards to week 8!

That sounds a lovely run to round off your holiday! Spring in the air and a spring in your step.

Keep it steady, relax into the lovely longer runs and maybe, up some of the core strength and stamin work too, on some of your rest days:)

Got to keep that running body in line with the new running legs:)
