I was without my fellow C25K’er (aka youngest son) today so this is the first time I have run on my own. He’s usually so supportive and always runs back and forth to check up I’m ok. He gives me a lot of confidence. Anyway, I did it ... and I feel so chuffed! I kept to my steady (snail) pace but even managed a sprint in the last minute. Bring on week 8. Nearly there!
Week 7 run 3 - first solo run: I was without my... - Couch to 5K

Great job... not easy when anything you’re used to changes, bet you missed him heaps, and that he’s very proud of you even though he missed it. 6 runs to graduation... enjoy every step
Thanks, UnfitNoMore! Can hardly believe it’s only a few weeks ago I was struggling to run for a minute!
Yeah, me too... how great are we? I knew I’d run again, but doubted it would be so soon.
It’s great, isn’t it!
I’d recommend it to a friend!!! Gonna drag my neighbour out for my graduation run in a couple of weeks... he doubted it too and is always asking... told him when he dropped my apple juice off that I was nearing the end of the programme and he was gonna start soon.

Huge well done... relax into the longer runs, knowing that you are really capable of this
Thanks Oldfloss! I think I’ve caught the running bug!
