Outstanding you flick a switch and the floor beneath you moves π, so note to self must remember to start the Garmin...... too many buttons π.
Thought we'd experiment with a run /walk strategy this morning so far so good, dismissed the need for music as weirdly the treadmill whirring is actually quite intoxicating π€«.
The ability to tweak that speed as you need is a winner as is the incline options, ok ok it's not hills but it's a slope of sorts, could I get used to it? well it's early days but it's getting a π so far.
The Welsh weather outside, definitely grotty, not so indoors, it's rain free π€£.
I didn't before someone asks run masked up, that's post run after delivering food and drink to the self isolating Mrs C who tested positive and had taken up residence in the Master suite of the house.......... The rest of us well we're sticking things up our π daily π........
So still haven't found where to put the bread in yet but I'm sure I'll find it the more I run on it.....
Time to S-t-r-e-t-c-h.........
Happy running indoor or out be safe running friends
Yep it appears so, we've dodged it pretty well so far Mrs C like your lady is an nhs soldier and been at the sharp end and come through unscathed, but it just takes that one occasion, that's out of our control, so yep I'm Chief cook and bottle washer, with the assistance of two teenagers taking over when it's work time for me..... Onwards and upwards π
We're building a relationship me and the new toast maker π€£, I'm just deciding on a name so I can relate to it as my running buddy π₯³..... Yep the ol test came back very much positive and the pcr confirmed it π..... But it's pretty much widespread locally again..... On a plus the traffic was quite quiet on today's run Didn't have to stop for a car, tractor or bus once π
Hope Mrs C can come out of the master suite soon and ooo treadmill as an alternative to gritty weather is fab. Join the world of health and social care workers sticking things up their π for nearly 2 years now
Oh I see Mrs C will have been testing forever, hope her symptoms are mild and go soon
Thanks, Yes i have loads of them and a car full of used masks that do ok to wear if i need, weβve been lucky but my daughter and family all had it last week an Willows family the week before itβs everywhere, work is so short staffed but iβm off until they get a treatment plan in place and that appointment has just been cancelled so more waiting. I loved my treadmill but after I met Willow hardly used it then once heβd fallen over it a few times in the night we sold it on hence c25k and outside running πββοΈ
Definitely definitely outside running but for now it's ok ππ, they're closed wards etc where Mrs C works and load the other wards up, but in doing so a COVID free ward soon falls foul of all the moving around of staff etc..... Its a minefield π³
Yes it really is, itβs quite amazing that anyone goes in to hospital and comes out ok nowadays and that includes the staff and weβve 3 nurses and a pharmacist between us all frontline staff was very scary in the beginning as must have been for you but we know more survivors now so not so scary but still a nasty virus
You make treadmill running sound so easy π€£π€£ (βjust flick the switchβ)
Well done! From what I heard treadmill running can feel much harder so big thumbs up!
Hope you keep covid-free. Our whole household caught it recently, and we were lucky that we had done a shop fairly recently. The other one-time online shopping-spree felt like living in plague-village: βjust leave the grocery bags at the gate and weβll come pick them up afterβ! π€£π€£
Tis as easy as making toast π, it's a different running experience but I'd say minus the scenery it's as enjoyable when you find that zone to run to run in, and the hills as re easier, weathers reliable as well π.
But the covid bug we'll do what we can but it's a definite lottery
Ta Frenc still another positive day for her today but spirits good, not quite climbing the walls
I dare say she'll be on the moving floor Machine asap
Hi Imc50 So you have a new running buddy, I use treadmill daily I just finished my week7 today and delighted although feeling a bit tired, headache and coughing. Numbers out here are quite good so just hoping its something that will pass. Hope Mrs C gets better soon, enjoy your new work routine Iβm sure it will all be appreciated when Mrs C gets better and enjoy working with your new running buddy.

Thanks Hidden she's mending day by day π, the bonus of husband nursing is the repetitive workout on my legs going up and down the stairs π€£..... Glad you've got less cases with you π.....
Week 7 impressive you've done the hard grind and can see the end keep going out there
