Returning to running

Hi, so I’m back on C25K. I graduated about 5 years ago and progressed my running to doing Parkrun most Saturdays (I got my black T.shirt :-)). Also, I managed a few 10k runs and 1/2 a marathon. I then got a nasty injury which took me out for over a year. I have tried to return a few times but got other injuries on the way. I’m 61 now so I guess things do take longer to recover. Unfortunately I’ve also gained a few stone since my last run.

Well I started again yesterday and did run 1 of week1 :-). Although I woke up today with a few aches I’m determined to get to week 9 again. I look forward to collecting my badge this time and getting to week 9 and hopefully a return to Parkrun again soon.
