Hia I'm very new to c25k and running. I could never run any distance even at school but I must admit I'm loving it. I never thought I would get past week 1 with running for 1 minute but I've persevered . Hoping to get fit after the weight gain of lowdown but never thought I would enjoy it . Not sure I'm loosing weight but definitely getting fitter . Wk8 and run 2 tomorrow . Still very self conscious in public running . Any advice on what to use to keep me motivated when c25k finishes as I only have 5 runs left and enjoy having Denise counting me down in my ear . Looking forward to any advice . Cheers for now .

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
When you announce your graduation I will send you a link to a guide to post C25k running.
If you cannot wait, it is sitting in the FAQ Posts, which you will find in the Pinned Posts. For now, just take it one run at a time............you will soon be a junkie.
Enjoy your journey.
I was on the same journey as you 4 years ago and it’s great that people are still coming through this fantastic programme. When I graduated, the next step for me was to attend my first parkrun. Anyone can do it, not just racers. It is a 5k run, walk or jog organised by people in your own community. Check out the parkrun website to see if there is one near you. I will link my pinned post on parkrun, if it is still here .

On my first time I walked 5 mins, followed C25k W9R3, then walked to nearly the end and ran across the finish. I loved it and 100 runs later, still do.
I agree follow the advice so far and keep on reading posts on here .I have found the group talks inspirational and feel left out if I don't run! It has kept me going since I started C25k in May 2020.
