Well today was great fun .... a 10k run organised by the fabulous running club I belong to (women on the run) in aid of Marie Cure. The photo is us all at the end - not as wet as we feared but a bit windswept!
It was when I was writing this run up in my running log that I realised this was run number 100 since my very first C25K week 1 run - ๐ฎ what a journey. I would never have thought back in May that I would be regularly running three times a week; running and volunteering at Parkrun; running up to 15k and entering 10k races in 2019 - my aim is for ten 10k races next year.
For everyone on their C25K journey - enjoy and be prepared for it to become addicted!
Happy running ๐โโ๏ธ ๐โโ๏ธ๐ช๐

Weeeeell ....!! I am building up my distance and watching those doing the HM plan over on the marathon forum and if a nice race popped up somewhere ... who knows?!!
Your photo is a big inspiration for me...thank you for all your happy faces: l wonโt give up (two days ago I was quite demotivated ๐ as you can read in my post)!
Thank you - it is lovely to be able to inspire someone else after all the support and motivation I have had on this forum. Running with this group, once a week, is brilliant. We support each other and have fun - runners are the best! Stick with it - youโll find your motivation. And going forwards, some runs are fabulous and stick in the memory, and others arenโt so great but we learn from them. All the best.
