Gorgeous run in the sunshine today. Knowing about the toxic ten really helped. Changing my music helped a lot as well. Is it bad that I really enjoyed running to "Dear Future Husband"...?
Had enough energy to push a bit at the end, so I ran faster and made it to 4.59km. Hurray! I don't think I'll reach 5km in my last run of the programme but it feels good to be getting close.
Plus, this time I tired myself out so I went back to work in a calm and reasonable frame of mind 😁
So surprised that the programme has made such a difference. I have never run distances and I couldn't have imagined I would run for 30 minutes a few weeks ago.

You're very right. I've loved the programme and just being able to run is a triumph in itself.
I am excited about 5k seeming reachable, with work. I think I'm worrying about finishing the programme and being left to my own devices and it's nice that 5k is looking possible in the next month or so. So it's something realistic to work towards!
Oh yes. That's perfect. I'll consolidate what I've done -- really looking forward to making it easier and also to not pushing forward every week -- and then do this.
Keen to start mixing things up a bit too. Years (and years and years) ago I was a sprinter and I still find that faster running feels more natural to me, but my muscles definitely weren't up to it pre-C25. Now, I think I might be able to start some shorter faster runs without being in pain for days afterwards!
Hi OrigamiWolf. I am glad to hear this went well for you, especially with sunshine - none in my part of the world today. It is good to hear that you were able to pace it about right - this bodes well for the final run of the week.
As for ''Dear future husband....'', I guess this rather depends on your marital status / status to be!!
