I get married in August, begin alterations on my dress in June. Currently, my dress doesn't do up by about 2/3 inches on my waist!! I know a seamstress could probably fix that without much problem however I could do with getting fitter and would rather slim myself to fit the dress rather than make the dress bigger to fit me. I have done couch to 5k before (about 2 years ago) and had lost a good amount of inches by week 5... so I figured it is time to pull about the app again. I need to lose about 4 inches on my waist to do up the dress and be comfortable. I have 3 months! Starting Monday after my friend's hen this weekend

Operation: Fit into my wedding dress!
Welcome back to the forum and well done on getting restarted.
Don't do it just for your wedding. Do it for the rest of your life.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Thank you! I definitely want to implement it as a lifestyle change, not just as a one-off for the wedding. Currently juggling a Master's Degree and part-time work so it is tricky to form new habits! I will try my best. Thank you for the tips
