Slept in and missed my run!

I never sleep in, never I tell you! but I did this morning and missed my run, I'm a creature of habit and don't think I could run this evening so that means running tomorrow and postponing my Saturday run till Sunday. My OCD is going wild :-)

On the plus side, having lost 2 inches off my waist, I'm wearing a pair of my old trousers again today, they fit perfectly and I feel really great about it.

I have a wardrobe full of clothes that fitted me 2 years ago. Luckily at my age there's no such thing as fashion, so looking forward to getting back into them. 10 lbs lost to date, so it's getting close...

That's Great, I have plenty more on the next size down. I've not had those ones on for about 7 years so really looking forward to that :-)

Well you did say you were sleeping better 😂 Do you find yourself thinking about when you're going to run and then where you're going to run nowadays - I do! This running kind of takes over your life doesn't it?

Great about the trousers btw! No wonder you're feeling great - and Spring is just around the corner. Things can only get better!

A large portion of my day is spent thinking about running and when and where and how I am going to run next 😄 I’ve actually just been out and done my first ever night run. I’m in New Zealand so I’m 13 hours in front of most of you and it’s mid summer and rather hot. Glad I did it to maintain my schedule but I much prefer early mornings. 👍

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Good recovery from the sleep. And now you know you can do evenings if you “have” to. 😄 And back on track for schedule. 👍And moving towards those trousers. 😳 Win, win, win! 🎉🎉🎉 Happy Running. If you’re in Auckland, you might see my grandson loping by - he’s started C25k to counteract his desk job. 😊

I live in West Auckland and Run there at weekends. I work in Hamilton so spend Monday to Friday away from home. Some amazing places to run here 😊

He lives in Albany (wherever that may be!) and says he has choice of woods or round a lake. Sounds lovely! Enjoy your runs (and your sleep.) 👍😊

And there I was thinking you were battling the weather! Although I suppose you are in a way. I'm in France this week and my Monday run made me sweat a bit and I was trying to keep in the shade as I ran. It was only 10 in the morning! My preference is morning too. That way I'm fresh, and once it's done I have the rest of the day to feel great!

I’m planning on going swimming on my “rest” days. Hopefully first thing in the morning if I don’t sleep in! 🙄

Don't forget to use your Fenix to record your swim. If not in the apps on the phone you can connect it to your PC and add more. Open water swim or pool swim.

Well done on your toning and inches lost. As you are changing (size) and improving your health maybe this is an opportunity to try new things and shake up your routine a bit more. I have really tried to embraced the changes now...ok I haven't like something before but I will try it and see. (Perhaps an evening or a Sunday run.)

We all thought that when we were doing it, I think because for most of us it's so unusual to be actually running :-) The program sets you up for success and it really works. If I can do this anyone can do this!
