Help! my c25k app ( week 1 ) hangs up half way through ... Have had to complete first 2 runs using a good old fashioned stop watch. My progress then shows as incomplete. Not a great start . Anyone else experienced this or any suggestions? Have already reloaded the app 🙄

Very frustrating!You have already done what I would suggest first by re loading .
The app certainly is flakey at the best of times and I certainly remember it stopping if I received a phone call during the run !
I'm afraid i don't have an answer but I would report it to the developer from your download site .
You can run the app once home while you are doing other things just so you get a record of your progress in the app
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
You can run any workout from the app while you sit on the couch eating crisps if you want to. It doesn't actually track you, only records that you set the app running for the required time.
You could always use the old school podcasts which are linked to in the guide to the plan, which is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Thank you for your reply . I was aware it doesn't track you... but it would be helpful if it timed you without crashing mid session! PS I'm trying to stay away from the crisp isle 🤣🤣
