So I've just got in from week 1 run 1 after initially saying I would start yesterday.
I made sure I had all the gear, music and buds at the ready so I had no excuse, I even went to the shops in my running clothes to decrease the chances of pulling out.
My thoughts...
"I really don't know why I'm doing this, I know I dislike running"
"Come on you can do it"
"Brisk walk... just got through that bit then a run"
"Oh ok my stamina is better than I thought it would be, not amazing but still slightly there"
"My ears feel weird with earphones in"
"Oh... I'm done."
And stretch. Now about to head for a shower and cook Mediterranean cod for dinner. I'm adamant I will be slimmer and fitter by the time I go on holiday in June!

Great work Kerry Lou, you have taken a great stride to a healthier life, do not expect to lose weight through running, but you will because you are thinking healthy and that will work. Good luck
