If you go over to the Bridge to 10K forum here, there's the Magic Plan. It's not an app but a set of runs spread of varying lengths spread over 8 weeks.
I found that the Magic Plan worked brilliantly. The difficulty with any guided audio app for 10k is that pace is different for everyone. I'm not a fan of coached runs anyway though, haven't used one since completing C25K.
If you've not run for a month it'd be a good idea to go out and see what you can manage, taking it easy, before embarking on a programme to get to 10k.
So JuJu’s magic plan does work, but if you are after someone to encourage you whilst your out there running the roads/trails, then you could give the Nike Run Club a go. The app is totally free, it does have a 10k programme, that wants you to run 5 times a week - which of course, you do not need to do. The good thing about these runs are they are all guided, a mix of intervals/speed runs (that are fun to do… especially when you’re giving it all to run like you did as a kid for 15 seconds as fast as your legs will go) and more relaxed recovery runs that are either distance or time based. I followed the plan for the HM earlier this year, and would not be without Coach Bennett’s encouragement and positivity. There is a brilliant 45 minute guided run with Paula Radcliffe telling her story. You also have the choice to listen to their music, or use your own sounds. Good Luck 🤞 You will smash this 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
