So I am 1 run away from the end of week 5 and wondered if there is a decent 5-10k app? I have seen mixed reviews on a lot of them and the Nike Running Club App puts other training in there which I don't want to do.
If anyone has any ideas or if anyone knows whether the BBC is planning to release one?
Many thanks.

The Nike app also has you running a lot further than 10k on the 10k plan... I’m following one at the moment and it’s going up to 11 miles 🤣
There’s a plan on Bridge to 10k that is better than any I’ve seen on an app... all you have to do is follow that, and then you can also take advantage of the guided runs that Nike has to offer. The Nike plans rock, but they’re not designed for new runners, even their getting started plan asks you to run 10 and 20 minutes non-stop in week one!
Cross training is important for injury avoidance... doesn’t have to be the one Nike suggest, you can do whatever you like.
For anyone reading, Nike Run Club 5k to half marathon plans aren’t aimed at people looking to get to the distance, they’re for people looking to beat their PB at them.
I use Nike Run Club App. I just don’t do the other training. I prefer to do my own fitness exercises in-between runs, but as UnfitNoMore has said, there’s a 10k plan on Bridge to 10k Group and lots of people find that one really good. You’re doing that at the same time alongside others too, so there’s great energy and motivation. ❤️
