Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

W5R3 in the NHS C25K plan, which most people here are following, is a 20 minute run. We would advise you to stick to the plan.

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Are you sure you didn't do Week 6 Run 3 instead? Week 5 ends with a 20 minute run.

I answered my phone whilst running and it paused the app. By the time I realized I'd ran the extra 5mins.

I had that happen in Week 1 during one of the walk intervals.

I'd suggest sticking to the intended programme and doing Week 6 Run 1 next. It should be a doddle now.
