Wahoo! I’ve run for 25 mins non-stop!! I honestly cannot believe it.
It was almost 2 weeks since I completed R2- it’s been a tricky couple of weeks at work- so I’ve been leaving later- and I had an emotional weekend in between as my 11 year old rabbit was put to sleep (so my mind has been elsewhere). I struggled to fit my runs in before it got too dark!
Today, I set out to do this and, despite feeling like it was too long since the last run, I thought let’s just see if you can… and I did!
To be honest, I found the walking breaks of R1 & 2 almost annoying!! I’m now happy that I can just go for it.
I am so proud of myself. I’m feeling the next 9 runs until graduation will be do-able! I feel like I am a runner now - I have learned to pace myself and I find that my recovery is much quicker than the first few weeks.

Well done you'll not notice much from being unable to run for 2 weeks, after that loss is gradual. You have already noticed that your body is adapting, take it steady and enjoy.
You deserve to be very proud of yourself, sorry about your rabbit, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3/25 minute runs, not long now until you graduate.
