Have really struggled this week with runs 1 & 2. My legs felt so heavy. After run 2 they ached all night and I felt totally drained. I have found previous weeks runs to be fine and have looked forward to the next ones. I have managed to keep plodding on at a snails pace though. Have given myself an extra day off before I attempt run 3 tomorrow but can't say I'm very confident about it like have been previously.

Have you made sure you are drinking enough? I didn't drink or eat enough yesterday and my legs were very heavy today trying my practice run. One foot in front of the other you will b great. Xx

I could really do with drinking more as I'm not much of a water drinker. Think I should have had a drink before I went out on run 2 but forgot. Going to attempt the long run early in the morning whilst it's cool. Thank you for your support

a drink before you go out will be of no benefit if you are not hydrated. You need 4 litres of water the day before you run.

That's at least 3 of us doing W6R3 tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing everyone post on here about their successes tomorrow, and I'm sure you’ll be one of them. Good luck!

Thank you. Good luck to you too.

Ah - don’t worry W6 is a tough one. From what I remember R3 was (not easy) but easier than 1&2. Good luck & remember the mantra - slow & steady.

I’m not a water drinker either, so I can totally relate. The cramps in my legs have convinced me to choke it down the day before a run. Sometimes I warm it up and put a dash of lemon in it, sometimes tea, sometimes a squeeze of lime, or a splash of orange juice. You can do this! We all believe in you and tomorrow’s run will be a success. 😁
