After Friday's first consolidation run which I thought went disastrous, I had a bad weekend didnt feel well at all, no energy and tummy pains.

This morning got to the park at 5.45 ...stopped feeling sorry for myself cant give up now I've enjoyed the last 9 weeks improving myself. Decided to put Laura on needed her encouragement.

Lo and behold I set off slowly and was able to breathe unlike Friday when I was panting from the start.

You have now ran for 5 mins says Laura and I'm still breathing quite good, this isnt bad I said to myself . Last 5 mins still breathing ok a lot slower pace than I've done before, but it was comfortable 2.94 miles will try for the 3 miles on Wednesday. I'm still working in old money🤣 hence the miles.

Very well done !How long are you running for ?

Remember, consolidation is about sticking to the 30 minutes untill that becomes comfortable 👍

I have noticed that some runs are easier than others and think I’ll be taking Laura with me for moral support too .😆

Nice one, we all have good days and bad days. I work in new money in the apps and then convert it into old money so I know what it means. I still do summer weather in Fahrenheit 😂

That’s a great run in 30 mins! I switched to measuring in km as 0.5 distance milestones come more often and I found it helpful motivation when I started a few months ago. Anything to give my mind lots of short targets and more wins along the way to keep me going! 😂
