Week 5, run 1- wow!

Halfway mark!

I can’t believe I did this after slightly struggling to finish the first 5 minutes of runs 1 & 2 last week. Today felt comfortable and I completed the 3x 5 mins.

I am so proud of how far I have come. I’d never have believed I could run non-stop with a smile on my face for 5 mins 3 weeks ago! I’ve taken extra rest days to help me fit my runs around work. I find it easier to go as soon as I get in from work 2x in the week and do one run at the weekend. I actually look forward to it too!

You were smiling? That’s better than I was doing, but also really smart, breathing is easier when we smile apparently!

Your fitness is evidently rising rapidly… and your word tell me that the mental challenge is well in hand too. Week 5 is the best week, and while I don’t like disagreeing with the app, I literally just said I couldn’t do that on another post, technically I make the half way point the bell in the middle of the next run… big smiles then are mandatory!

I can’t wait to read how proud you are of yourself at the end of week 9!
