Achieved run number 2

I downloaded the app a few weeks ago and managed run 1 on Tuesday. Life got in the way a bit but managed to get out again today. I am really proud that I have managed this. I never got involved with PE at school (no more than I had to) as I am quite uncoordinated and have never been fit enough to do any exercise for any length of time. Thanks to Joe Wicks' PE sessions I started getting active and then downloaded some fitness apps which were great but did not manage to stick to them. This app has been great so far and it has been amazing to explore some of my local area. I really think (hope) I can achieve this programme. Planning for run 3 on Monday!

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
