Done! Went slow, probably my slowest run but also longest, 20 minutes.. felt like forever. Had lots of mental resistance, wanted to stop after running 5 minutes then after 10 but kept going.

Thank you IannodaTruffe , Instructor57 and DylanTheRabbit for support. This community helps a lot!

Congratulations on completing week 5 , you will be smiling all day now 😁Pace is key on the longer runs , well done .

Be mindful of week 6 runs 1 and 2 as the often catch people out with going back to walking intervals !

I was :) thinking of doing the runs in morning, instead of evening! I will be mindful of 6th week, had look at them yesterday!

Indeeed, mind matters more, with the program body gets prepared I think it’s the mind which plays tricks

Well done Khalesi I would say that this programme is as much about the mind set as the body, if not more. I have had runs - especially the later, longer, ones - that were definitely mind over matter and I struggled through the pain and pushed on fuelled by sheer bloody-mindedness!

You've got this. Slow and steady does it and you'll be on that graduation podium in no time 😁🏃😁

Indeed! If I wouldn’t have ran slow then it wouldn’t be possible. Graduation day is not too far, I hope 🤞

Well done you especially after a little break! One of the things C25K has taught me is to overcome the voices in my head telling me to stop - certainly really hard at times! And you did 😊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️.

Thank you! It’s all about the voices :)

Well done you! That is a real landmark run in the programme - you should be really proud of yourself. The gremlins are the worst and you gave them what for and you will do again. Onwards!!!
