Park Run Tourist!

Tomorrow morning I am going to be a Park Run tourist! We are having a holiday in Yorkshire. So I looked up Park Run venues and there is one near where we are staying at Dalby Forest! Excited to run somewhere different and on Forest tracks, my local PR is along a prom so all pavement. Might take Squiggy but supposed to be a short lead and he is used to running ahead on this bungee lead so not sure 🤔

Is Dalby Forest anyone’s local PR?

Enjoy your tourist holiday parkrun tomorrow morning skysue16, remember to report on how you got on, such as time, the weather on Damienair's weekly Parkrun post after your run.

Enjoy your PR tomorrow, I am looking forward to doing my first one when I am up to it... Been spying out PR's and looking for a flattish one, I hate big hills.

Ooh. Exciting. Enjoy! Parkrun length line used to be stipulated at 1.2 metres stretched length, you might be able to tie knot in your line, easier if you have a line with a non bungee section too, and meet that requirement.

I think I bought a PR suitable one and the tracks look wide but says ‘short lead’ on the info.

In that case I’m out of ideas.

Ohhh, if only you were nearer to me, you could’ve popped down to Brighouse and done the parkrun with me this morning 😉 Dalby Forest’s not too shabby though 😆

Wonderful, well done - dalby forest is beautiful, but I've only ever walked there. Although Mr grumpy likes the cycle trails.
