Hello good running friends, I'm still some way off restarting, just trying to build up walking distance at the moment but slowly slowly catch the monkey.

I must admit I'm not doing it the easiest way on flat level ground, but my main reason for getting fit is so I can get back into the hills. I'm up to about 5.5 k but my speed is a lowly 1.6kph average. It is hard going, but progress is steady.

Keep on running as Spencer Davis said.

Well you're not afraid of a challenge Pete! Any speed is a good speed up that path!

That's huge progress, over 5K on that kind of terrain is pretty darn good in anyone's money! Keep going, you'll be doing your Kate Bush impression and running up that hill before you know it 😀
