So this is the 2nd time I have gone through the C25K programme and it’s the closest to the finish line after I completed the 2nd run from week 9 yesterday, according to Strava I extended the run time by 17 seconds to achieve 5k so hopefully I will hit the 30 minutes & 5K combo on run 3 although the overriding desire is to make the 30 minutes running.
I have been a keen cyclist but never a runner so it’s been a challenge so far and I am looking forward to continuing and following the consolidation programme and then who knows where next, may aim for a 1/2 marathon for my 50th year in 2022.

The point of the ramble is to say thank you, it’s my first post but I have been reading other people’s posts and they have been really inspiring alongside the great responses from other posters and the ambassadors.
I think reading these posts has been that extra bit of motivation that will get me across the line on Friday morning (tomorrow is reserved for a hangover)
