Today’s run was quite a change to my week 9 run 2 on Friday which was met with a sunny run along the seafront in Brighton (whilst my daughter boated with sea cadets).
Today’s run was quite a marked difference (cue picture). I ran during my lunch break today which included a fabulous downpour and a couple of steep hills. If it wasn’t for the fact I was running and had no intention of stopping I would have photographed the last hill on my run which took me from 29mins to 30. I tried to run even slower to avoid it but alas, this wasn’t meant to be. Getting to the top though felt even more amazing as a result 🙌
I just want to say once more a HUGE great BIG thank you to all you fabulous runners out there as without your support (and guidance) I still wonder whether I would have pushed myself to do the last 3 runs.
So onwards and upwards and a big hi to July graduation consolidation group and runs…I’m joining you 🏃🏻♀️🙏🙌😅 x

Thank you @mancrunner 😊 yes my week 8 was really something I felt like I’d hit a wall mentally. Thank goodness I reached out on here as everyone offered some great tips and they did help me a lot 🙏
The photo does show a threatening heavy rain ☔ shower but despite the weather you have now graduated from C25K, congratulations, to get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked July C25K graduation home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated 🎓 🏃🏾 👍.
Aww thank you - I may go for a lunch break breather run tomorrow as my first consolidation run. Still not sure on next stage so I’m going to read up and take it all in 🥰
Thank you @instructor57 - I’m very happy with myself it’s true. A bit like learning to drive and passing ones test this is now the beginning of many new running adventures 🏃🏻♀️👩🏻🎓🤘
Thank you @iannodatruffe 🙏 I will give that a read. I need to work out what to do next so this will help me for sure - I’m thinking starting tomorrow post graduation 🏃🏻♀️🙌
For some reason my app wouldn't let me reply to your message via my phone 😕
Thank you though Popstess and for your support...onwards and upwards for us both and to keep jogging and blogging 😀
Have you done your first consolidation run yet? I'm hoping to go today in my lunch break breather just need to work out what to do next and what to run...been reading all the fab links 🤩
👏👏👏 you've done so well. Yea I did one 30 minute run on Sunday and a 20 minute run last night, the 20 minute one was meant to be 30 but I was in a different area and it wasn't good terrain, boggy and then no paths so ran along the road for a bit but didn't really like that, so stopped after 20 minutes felt like it was a bit of a fail because I was aiming for 30. I used the Nike running club app, one of the guided runs I really liked it.
That's amazing go you 🎉🎉 2 runs that's fabulous. DO NOT feel like you have failed. You ran and ran for 20mins!! wohooooo!
My turn now to give you a boost - remember when running 1 min was hell on earth! Now you are running 20 full mins non stop. You are off the couch and running.
I think I am going to do just that and aim for a solid 20 mins run later today and perhaps do the consolidation run plan over 6 weeks (I saw a 50min run at the end of wk 7 and had flashbacks of that feeling of I can't run for that long 😱😱😱) - that or check out the NRC. I would like to run for 5k in 30mins though...)
