After run 3 I feel good but now absolutely shattered again. I had tests recently so soon I will know if I have another illness, not that, or just getting old 😁.
Once again I retraced the route of my last 2 runs which has now become my week 8 route though to be honest finding roads with pavements is not as easy as it looks.
As I am sure others ' have noticed nettles are growing the full length of pavements so initially I was jumping over and out of the way of nettles. At the this is 5 mins I hope you are in a routine now I still had another 5 mins of nettle jumping before I could get into a rhythm.
On the plus side once I was away from the nettles even the slopes were easier to contend with but now I bid farewell to week 8.

Listen to your body and take more rest if you need it, C25K will still be here when you are ready. Have you looked for another route with less nettle hopping? I have noticed I have to duck down occasionally so to avoid a face full of overhanging tree.🤣
I have just had 3 hours sleep 😁. Unfortunately it is the only route which connects to another village so I can continue my run. The other routes on the main roads run out my pavement. My route does too but the slope up to the footbridge allows me access to another village so more options. I think it is no surprise it is the route the Sunday runners take too though I did not realise that until they thought I was in their race. Yes to overhang ing branches too but luckily not a major problem but there are a few trees which I can think of immediately. I also have a thorn scratch on my arm which bleeds intermittently but all part of the fun.
