Never thought I would be graduating, but here I am. Now to get from 3km to 5km is next target. This is a wonderful community and very supportive.
Let me know what you did to improve when you graduated.
Thanks π

Well done π
I kept repeating week 9 for a while, then moved onto a bridge to 10k app, as I really needed the structure.
Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

I signed up to do a charity 5k yesterday. I only finished the programme last week and at 30 minutes I was around 2.7miles. I completed just over 5 k yesterday in 34 minutes. I just kept my pace slow and concentrated. However I feel it today and feel achy and stiff. Not sure I will keep it up and might just drop back and do incremental increases in case I injure myself. I can only suggest you to know your limits and go at your pace?
Well done π can you believe youβve completed it? You should be really proud of yourself π
Iβve been doing more of the 40mins runs this month to consolidate and plan to then gradually build up time (slowly) until I hit my target of 5k. I think the consolidation runs were important for me.
Well done! Finished mine last week and am planning on doing the consolidation for the next three weeks and see how it goes. I am then hoping to join Parkrun in my area. Enjoy the feeling of finishing!πͺππ½ββοΈπͺ
Many many congratulations on your graduation, feels great, doesnβt it? Onwards & upwards now!
Well done you!! I graduated couple of weeks ago but the advise on here is to consolidate what you have learnt! So just run for 30 mins 3 times a week and donβt worry about the distance itβs a matter of finding your runners legs. I am currently running/walking 100 miles in the month of May for my local hospice so I have something to keep me going. So would definitely set yourself a challenge or goal but mostly just enjoy the fact you can keep it going π₯³
Well done Newfoundlandπ I kept on aiming for 5k, and once I managed it, repeated it over and over in different locations. I am further on now, but 5k is still my 'go to' run. Whatever you do, good luck with it and enjoy your dayπ
πββοΈππΌππΌπ₯Well done...you did it! I graduated a few weeks ago and I have been using the Nike Run Club app. Itβs free and there are plenty of running options available.
Good luck and enjoy your running journey!
Congratulations! Well done finishing πI'm at the same stage as you and I'll run week 9 for a few weeks to consolidate then see what's next.
