Week 5 Run 1 and managed to "slow down"

MADE IT!!! Took the week-end off and decided to start this week with week 5. It was really helpful to understand what is meant by "slow down". (There's a video in these forums, but I do not know how to link it). I don't know if I'm landing on my heel or toes or somewhere in between, but just taking short steps was really helpful. I ended up tired, but not extenuated as with the final 5 mins in Week 4. And I was also able to breathe more "reasonably".

Well done.

That slow pace not just makes it more achievable, it is scientifically proven to be the most effective to develop your stamina and endurance.............faster is not necessarily better.
