Week 6, run 1

Just completed wk6, run 1..go me! I did find that harder then week 5 run 3, but I suppose that’s the reason it’s best to follow the plan. I found my inner voice wanted me to stop after just a few minutes of running!! Hopefully by run 3, I will be fully prepared. I’m trying to drink more water, even on my rest days to help with tired legs and I’ve just had my gait analysis done and I am now the proud owner of a pair of Brooks adrenaline, which felt so much more comfortable and supportive this morning, than my battered Adidas gym shoes! 5K I’m coming to get you!!!

Congratulations on completing your longest workout to date.

It catches out more people than any other workout in the plan.

Thank you! I have just had a look at some older posts about this run, yes, it seems as though I’m not the only one to struggle with it. So I feel a little better about it now, and not going to be too hard on myself. So glad I have found this page for the support, it really does keep you motivated and the advice pages you directed me to, have really helped. Can’t wait to be called a runner at the end of the week by Laura 😉😀😁
