Week 6 : Run 1

Completed this today. Thought I would share my experience. I thought I would find this run relatively easy after run 3 of week 5 but I found it tough. I think this was because yesterday I played at Canicross with two of my dogs and friends and did a big walk which included 12 minutes of running. I then did two more walks with my other dogs and racked up about 25000 steps (over 15k). #lessonlearntfollowthebprogramme.

I’m loving the fact that I actually need to curb my enthusiasm. Unheard of for me where exercise was concerned until I started this programme 😊

Yes I completed it to on Sunday. I also found it tough, not helped by the fact that my app paused halfway through the eight minute section and I actually ran for 15 minutes until I realised what had happened! Went on a 5.5 K walk this morning so hopefully that won’t impact on tomorrow’s run!

Great job... it’s a very tricky run... almost caught me out, and many others. Only one more set of intervals to run... enjoy them and then onwards.

Really, that’s interesting. I guess they have good reasoning behind it.

Every run is there for a reason... not sure what the intention was, but it’s all about pacing again after a free run... maybe it’s about not getting cocky?!
