Today 18th April in 2018 I ran, run 1 of week 1 of C25K, since then I have ran 17 official Parkruns and 44 (not) parkruns, at least another 20 other 5K to 8K runs, 10/10Ks, a few 11K to 14K runs and one 10 miles run, it's been a great 3 years, also as this Healthunlocked C25K/B210K and Marathon Forums are the best Social Media Sites on the Internet I am very proud to be a member of it.

Thanks Jericho2332, I meant to repeat run 1 of week 1 of C25K this morning but instead went a 10K walk to add my distance to the COGH Challenge. 😊 🚶

I went on a 19k bike ride and failed to add to the COGH 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣

Update June 2021, COGH is now over but cycling was NOT counted in it.

Happy runniversary AlMorr, and many more of them . Not only have you achieved your achievements, but you have also helped others to do so with your advice and support in the forum, including me 😁. Thank you so much.

You can do not parkrun any day of the week, 7 runs are the maximum, there is a runner on my parkrun site who has ran 77 not parkruns, she averages 3 a week.

Ha nowster, my toes do have a spring in them, helped by those Hilly socks I wear when out doing longer walks and shorter runs, it is important for walkers to have proper walking boots and runners to have proper running shoes and socks to match.

Yes thanks Alan, life’s been pretty busy here preparing my late parents house (which a family member had been living in) for sale, lots of gardening and maintenance needed doing, so I’m now looking forward to a much more relaxed life once the sale is finalised. Yes, still running and although I haven’t posted on here yet managed to run 10 miles yesterday and I’m another 2018 graduate, 3 years on Thursday since I graduated 😊

Congratulations on completing that 10 miles run yesterday, I have only ran one 10 miles run, that was last year, perhaps for my 3rd graduation anniversary on the 18th June I might run my second 10 miles run or even run a HM, that is a big might 👍🏃🏾😊

Thanks Kingfishers, fun, most of the runs have been fun, not all, especially the recent ones in February when I was struggling though ice and snow with my sore right leg and had to walk a good part of it in a time of 55.06, otherwise, most of my running have been fun, I am having a lovely evening, Monday evening is the one evening I have a fish supper, earlier today I took a train journey to the coast and walked 5K.

Wonderful Al, congrats, what a fabulous 3 years you've had, it truly is life changing isn't it 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

And you're right about these forums, it's been around 3 years for me too with one difference...in the 1st year I did it alone and was only at 23 mins with a couple of short walk breaks and just couldn't figure out how to progress from there, then I joined HU and boy how things changed!

As we now know and have advised many others I was simply going too fast, and probably not hydrating well.

It's simple with a little help and support from all our lovely HU running friends 😊

AlMorr profile image
AlMorrAmbassadorGraduate

I couldn't agree more with you Run46 regarding this forum and how HU has helped so many people to run C25K, slow running is the answer, slow and steady as in this forum, I have indeed had 3 fabulous years of running, I hope you are also enjoying your runs, thanks for congratulating me regarding my wonderful 3rd running anniversary on starting the course of C25K.
