Just finished my W8r1. First 5 mins felt like I am never going to do this today. By 10mins I was in a good rythmn Then I had a little wobble with legs and breathing but told my self I could do it and why give up half way round. By 20 mins comfortable homeward bound. Last 6 mins good. Then finished on 29 mins as did a bit extra. All good. I haven’t run since I was at school 40yrs ago. So this is major for me and such an achievement. Would never believe I could run for 28 mins ever. I did it today

Fantastic JumpShredded ..this is just what others need to hear...we all have a wobble now and again but it’s often a case of kind over matter...and it won the day for you!! Well done...nearly there now...stay in that frame of mind amd you’ll smash it, we’re all cheering for you!!
Well done. I find the first 5-8 mins really hard, my legs feel heavy and I feel tired but apparently this is “a thing”. It’s called the toxic ten and all runners experience it to some extent. It’s something to do with the time it takes your brain to realise your legs need more oxygen or something. Knowing this has really helped me because now I tell myself I just need to get though those first minutes and I’ll feel better and be able to finish my run.
Well done JumpShredded great work ! !
