I did it, Wk5 run 3 and so pleased with myself π It was tough but I couldn't finish 60 seconds on week 1, so worth every minute.
First 20 minute run complete : I did it, Wk... - Couch to 5K
First 20 minute run complete
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran
Well done!! Fantastic isnβt it! X
Look how far youβve come! π
Thank you, I'm truly amazed π
We couldnβt believe we would ever run for that long when we first started, itβs an amazing programme, I bet you keep grinning
Yes totally, it's great how week 5 really steps it up and you start think that you could complete it. Such a great feeling π
Just remember to take the next run slow, going back to intervals can feel harder than you expect, but week 6 is a great week
Wll done now Enjoy the moment.
Sorry for the late reply, long work day. I still am thrilled with it thank you, wk 6 run 1 Sunday, there's a bit of nervousness about that but as everyone keeps saying onwards and upwards π
Well Doneπππwhen I first done C25K I actually checked Google thinking my app was wonky ππ20 minutes must surely be wrong! I must admit though, being able to run that dreaded 20 minutes filled me with confidence, if I could do that and survive, I could do 30.
Well done, Nohare
I had an online session with a health trainer yesterday.
I had options of Bronze: 90 minutes of exercise in a week
Silver: 150 minutes
Gold: 300 minutes
I did about 70 minutes of walking yesterday, some of which was brisk (I think)
Wonderful!
Congrats! You can do anything now!
Well done great effort ππ»ππ»
Well done. It's a great achievement. Onwards and upwards...
Great feeling - isnβt it. Well done. I smiled all day when I did it! Have a great day . π
Well done, as said a milestone run and now no more walking !, you will be amazed at the progress you will make from here in,but just stick to the programme, if you have to slow down, dont forget to stretch before and after and proper warm up's/down's get into that habit and "Bob's your aunties husband".
Well done! I'm due to do w5r2 tomorrow and a bit nervous about what's coming up!
Excellent news! That is the daunting one out of the way, so there is no stopping you now. Just be careful of W6R1 - it catches many out so slow and steady for it.
So inspiring! Thank you for sharing. That is my next run TOMORROW, so that is very encouraging that you made it. Well done! I have had my struggles as well with not being able to complete some of these times that were upped. So happy you did it!ππ»ππ»ππ
I love this forum, it has helped me so much, your message means everything π we can go through the next three weeks together π Getnoffmycouch Good luck for tomorrow, you can nail it!!!! if I can get through beetroot face and all.... You've got this π Please let me know how you get on xx
Many congratulations!! A fantastic achievement!! I did my run 3 of week 5 yesterday and Iβm still smiling!!π€Such a great feeling isnβt it?π
It's the best feeling isn't it, when are you doing wk 6 Laralou2 ? I'm a bit nervous π€
It really is!! Iβm starting week 6 run 1 tomorrow. We can do this!!! Weβve completed week 5 so weβre going to be fine.
Lots of luck to you, I wish you well.x
We can!! πWishing you a great run today x
Thank you π Run 1 week 6 completed!! I hope your run goes well, remember the thought of it is far worse than the actual running. You can most definitely do this.πx
Well done that's great to know you've done itπππ I'll be repeating that reminder in my head tomorrow, no doubt π x
Well done π Iβve just done the same run myself this morning (very slowly!) I canβt believe I did it without stopping! I wasnβt expecting the big step up in week 5. I thought Iβd made a mistake and jumped to week 8 or something, but here we are - we did it! Good luck for Sunday, I will be doing week 6 R1 on Monday.
Congratulations!! Isn't it a great feeling, I could have written your post as I wasn't expecting that leap either, I normally work on ignorance is bliss π I'm glad that I've had the advice on here that next week can catch you out though, Im hoping I won't be so deflated if I struggle. 5/3 wasn't easy, the last two minutes felt like an eternity but that makes it even more rewarding. Good luck for Monday.
Knew you could do it. Now you know you can do 30 mins when the time comes. Doesn't it feel great!π
