First wobble

Well first wobble since starting. Could only manage 15 mins this morning. Sluggish, couldn't get into a rhythm and breathing was all over the place then my legs just had a mind of their own and stopped. Disappointing but hey ho bring on Tuesday. I think this just proves your body really does react to what you eat as last night we had friends round in the garden (because we could) and had a delicious Indian meal. I enjoyed every morsel but obviously paid for it this morning. Never mind, I'm not going to beat myself up about it as it is the only wobble I've had.

Happy Easter everyone.

I’m not sure that the meal would’ve caused that. Some runs are just like that. Make sure you are hydrating plenty the day before running. I think this has the biggest impact on my running. Also make sure you are going slow enough so your body needs little recovery 😊

Thank you. Yes I am always well hydrated drinking around 2 litres a day. I'll probably be fine on Tuesday.

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.

I had one of these run before last. It’s disheartening but it seems to be normal from what everyone is saying on here if that makes you feel better x

Actually I'm not worried about it. I didn't have one while completing the programme so hey ho.

A difficult run is often followed by a great run. These things happen and often there is no obvious reason. Don't fret over it.

I'm not in the least fretting over it. I'll do it on Tuesday
