Finally back...did my first run again yesterday and the second today.
I'm so proud of my self for going today...I was in a foil mood and really low energy, but the run was worth it.

Congratulations on completing runs 1 and 2 of week 1 of C25K, however, it's not advisable to run on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, from now on run at the most 4 days with one rest day between the runs.
Well done with your progress, but don't forget your rest days between runs 👍
Welcome back to the forum and well done on getting started.
When you run, the impact creates microtears in your muscles, which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while running. Without rest, repair and strengthening are compromised and injury risk increased.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
I pushed myself too far on the early stages and then suffered for it by having to take six weeks out due to impact damage, then had to almost start again from stratch.
