Today I did the first run of week three; YAY! I am so pleased with myself. I genuinely wasn’t sure I could do it today (mentally and physically) but tried to go into it positively; the sun was out and I ran along the beach, and before I knew it I had completed it! SO happy!
Today was a particularly difficult day (my mum passed recently - very unexpectedly) so I am so proud of myself for getting out of bed and doing this today.
Ready for run 2 and 3 this week!

Congratulations!!! I’m very slightly behind you- just completed week 3 run 1 today. I’ve not dared to run along the seafront yet as it’s always so busy- and I go bright red, sound and look horrendous, and everyone else running looks graceful and makes it look effortless! I’m so, so sorry to hear about your Mum. I lost my Dad fairly recently, and it’s been really tough. I’m extremely proud of you for getting out and persevering- well done!!! Your success and victories are very motivating ❤️
Thank you so much! It’s the first time I’ve done it via the beach and it was a wonderful feeling. I too go bright red and have no idea how others look so normal when running 😂 Thank you so much for the support. I am so sorry to hear of your loss too. Well done on your progress; we have got this! ❤️
I've got my 1st run of week 3 coming up on Wednesday , look like a fair bit more running for this one . Hope my covid jab tomorrow does not affect me too much as its all been pretty good up until now and don't want to have to bail out. Wish I had a beach instead of a park
