Thank u! Im such a newbie ,hopefully this forum will giv me the confidence to change my broken body ,I never feel like im doing exercise properly but looking forward to learning for here
We do a daily yoga practice which is quite gentle and can be amended to be even more gentle (I do that) but there is also the NHS 5-week Strength and Flex program which is such a great way to get into strength and flex! I did and enjoyed it immensely. It’s a series of 5 podcasts and you do each podcasts 3 times a week. I did these as suggested outside, in my Garden, and that was really nice!
Oo thank u that sounds right up my alley I've started a strengthen body workout but found it to hard in parts , will definitely look for ^mayb that would give me a better start thanks!
There is also a way to combine C25k with Strength and Flex training in a 12 week program. As you are still in the early stages of C25k this might be also something to consider. Link here nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/1...
Hi, if you want a short effective routine try the 5BX which is a program developed by the Canadian Air Force which many swear by. A shirt series of exercises designed to aid flexibility. Helen Mirren says she does it. YouTube has the old videos. I would suggest yoga as an alternative. Yoga by Adriene on YouTube offers a huge range of videos for different reasons flexibility is a key one where she has a lot of. They assume beginner so no pressure.
