Sooooo. This time last year there was an escalating work situation (a nasty stalker). Some weeks in ICU with my mother. Husband’s redundancy. Several lockdowns. Etc etc. It all went pear-shaped. I sat watching Boris announce the first lockdown and sobbed like he was announcing the end of the world. In a way, I suppose he was announcing the end of the old world...
But here I am again, a year on, a stone heavier but back to Week 1 run 1.
And.... Stalker was fired. Mum was discharged in better state just as Covid lockdown hit so escaped hospital infection nightmare. Husband packed for Amazon before finding another IT position. We got vaccinated last week. And the sun is shining.
2020 was the worst year ever but I’m still standing and about to start running again. Off I go... 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
