Time to resume

I had to stop the program almost a year ago due to back problems. I have since moved to Gozo, and had treatment from the only Osteopath permanently on the island. I shall resume on Tuesday, although I suspect I may have to restart not resume. On the plus side, Sanap cliffs are fairly close and provide spectacular views :-)

Welcome back to the forum and well done on your decision.

After a year off you will need to restart to recondition your body to the impact and injury resistance.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
