Just about to finish week 8 - I seem to yo-yo with having a rubbish slop around my route to the next time feeling euphoric. It makes me feel quite anxious beforehand - anyone else the same?

Yes. Anxiety is such a difficult thing to deal with. Sometimes I can barely get out the door.
I tell myself it doesn't matter, that I can turn back and go home at any time after the 1st mile or so, by which time I always want to go a bit further as I start to feel a bit better...
The only way to deal with it (for me) is not to let it win! I am the one in control of my life, yes, I might feel bloody awful at times but I'm not allowing it to take over.
I have never yet cut a run short. I always feel better for persevering.

Some runs are better than others, there are no failures, only practice runs. You can analyse your runs and you can learn from them. But you can over-analyse and come to the wrong conclusions!
