Hello all

Well this is interesting! all my previous runs, i have completed on my treadmill. Today i thought lets try to do it without the treadmill and see how my calves react. The good news is i completed run 3 of week 3, now for the interesting bit! When i run i wear my fitbit charge 2 and the distance covered is always different to the treadmill, i.e Wednesday run, treadmill stated 1.24 miles and my fitbit recorded 1.75. Today i only had my fitbit and that stated 1.85 miles and also my calves DID NOT ache at all, while on the treadmill they do!

I think running on the treadmill must not be normal to my body!

I look forward to everyone's' thoughts so next week on to week 4

Regards

Stephen

I’m afraid I don’t use a Fitbit or a treadmill (Garmin 45 and the great outdoors all the way here! 🙂) Sounds to me like you should do more running outside though and keep your calves happy! Good luck!🙂

I like the distractions of being outside, I trail run which I think has less of an impact on the joints, if you run on a treadmill you can concentrate on every last twinge too much but everyone is different! Congrats completing week 3!!
