CR3 done!

I've decided to try out the stepping stones podcast again, it was a reality check of my speed the first time round but i really enjoyed Laura's guidance throughout so wanted to give it a go again!

This time i was ready for 3 new speeds 150, 155, 160 bpm and transitions between each of them felt easier! The music really helps and in the toughest moments i was trying to focus on stepping my left foot to the beat on 1,2,3,4 etc. to distract myself and was indeed moving forward! I was hoping to last more than half of the run, but Laura kept breaking things down in 5min intervals and i said to myself saying, come on, you can do 5min, cant you? And just repeated this mantra till the end! I managed to increase the speed too in the final 30sec and to achieve the whole run felt incredible as i thought it will take me much much longer building up to podcast speed, so excited!!

I'm building up stamina by running slowly, and doing some interval runs before going back to that pressure of running to someone else's tune!

Agree 100%! I really enjoyed the fact that I managed to finish this run but will need to be mindful so i dont run myself into injury, its good to see that snail has a 2nd gear though!😂
