C25k+ Speed....

I did the 'Stamina' podcast for my last run last week, and found it a good challenge: did the 'Speed' one today with the intervals, and really felt like I probably could have done a couple more intervals - I really was following along with the instructions and spm, so I'm pretty sure I was doing it right - has anyone else found that the "Speed" podcast is a little too easy? Gearing up for the Stepping Stones one Wednesday - I'm hearing that's not fun... What's been your experience/challenge?

Love Speed.... I, like many of us, add it into or onto other longer runs... I use it for a speedy 3K... Stamina.. brilliant...also used on its own, or added into other runs... but Stepping Stones. my least favourite... weird soft shoe shuffle type run :)

Well done you!

Thanks, ma homie :-)

I love Stepping Stones, it's my 'go to' whenever I have a problem with running. Speed is a bit too short but as OldFloss has said good to incorporate into other runs or I use it hill training (run faster uphill, slower bits downhill) but Stamina ......I have never managed to complete that....

I really am curious now what it'll be like - stay tuned - I'll check back in Wednesday! :-)

I like Stepping Stones and Stamina but haven't tried Speed for a while - I did find it a bit short when I tried it before. I'll give it another try soon.

it really surprised me how short it was... I might try to add a couple sets on next time...

I can't find these podcasts in the Apple Store, are they under this name exactly?

I found Speed a little frustrating as I couldn't keep in time with the music. Like you I felt it was a little too slow for me and I just couldn't coordinate my legs with the music. I have used it as a guide since, but just to tell me when to do the intervals rather than to keep in time with.

The only talent I have is being able to follow Laura's timing instruction! lol

If you are finding these runs a bit easy or you want an interval run with more intervals, try downloading the advanced guardian running podcasts. They are a bit longer.

interesting - I'll have a look for them!
