Started off with the last of the daylight fading in the west and finished with stars overhead- and half way round someone standing outside their front door gave me a round of applause ๐Ÿ˜†

Did you run past their door at 6pm?

They might have been applauding Captain Tom, not Captain Autumn............but you get a round of applause from us.

Hahaha!! I didn't know about that ๐Ÿ˜† that must be why there were quite a few people outside in the cold! I magnanimously acknowledged the applause with a gracious wave of my hand!!!

Good for you.

Woop go you, take the applause anyway pretend it was from people doing it instead. I managed the W2R2 today as well although may have started to fast and was really slow on the last couple but still did it I suppose ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Here's to carrying on!

That's brilliant that someone applauded you! I wish someone would applaud me too!! I also did my W2R2 today - same as brozwn too - so we're on the same trajectory, yippee! It was OK, but I'm sure that staying on W1 for 3 weeks helped me. I'm really really hoping to move on to W3, so here's to you and brozwn and all of us newbies, woop woop!

Hey! Where are you in the programme now? Started week 3?

Hello! I did my W2 R3 two days later than I should have cos it was soooo cold, but I did it yesterday when it was -1 outside. I'm due to do my first W3 run tomorrow (when it's also due to be around -2 I think). I was really looking forward to reaching W3, as that seems like a real milestone. Have you done W3 R1 now?

Yes. Totally fine doing 2x3 minute runs which is amazing. Mind you I'm joggling along at basically walking pace! Run 2 tonight. The really bizarre thing is I find myself looking forward to a run! Never ever would have thought that possible. Good luck with week 3 !

Thank you, and I did W3R1 today. Like you, I felt OK doing the 3 minute runs which I was amazed about, but I am jogging really really slowly. In fact, I think I probably walk faster than I'm running, but I'm trying to heed all the advice about going slowly. I also look forward to going out, but I think a lot of that is just to leave my work and p.c., and have somewhere to go in Lockdown!
