Have had a very busy weekend - gym in the morning with my 81 year old dad, rehearsals in the afternoon then singing in a concert last night (solo), then 10 people for supper after the concert. Then today I had another 10 people round for a pre-Christmas lunch. But at least I managed to fit in my run this morning before I started cooking. Can't wait for my next run and graduation!

Beautiful... I love singing..but have not sung in a choir for many years..cooking..I love...and painting..and of course running 😐
It was nice to be asked to do solos, as when I lost my hearing in one ear suddenly 2 years ago I was unable to pitch at all and thought I'd never be able to sing in tune again. I've had to work hard at it as I can't hear when there is background noise, and singing with a choir or orchestra is quite challenging. I got some lovely feedback too.

What a busy life! At least running gets you some 'me' time.
I hope you have something special planned for graduation?
Just one more run until graduation! Enjoy it.

I just had to do a double take after reading the line " gym....with my 81 year old dad....". Go him! I hope I'm still gyming it at that age 😊
It's a manic time of year isn't it? But good for you for getting the runs in. Exciting times 🤗
Since losing my mum last summer after 58 years of marriage (and a long spell of Alzheimer's) my Dad gradually began to start doing things for himself, bought a camper van in a January, started kayaking in May, has bought his own kayak and started going to the gym in September to improve his mobility and core strength. He's amazing really! 😀

"gym in the morning with my 81 year old dad" - dang, wish I had a daughter like you! With my lot I'll be lucky to see my next birthday let alone 81!
