Week 9 Run 2

Have had a very busy weekend - gym in the morning with my 81 year old dad, rehearsals in the afternoon then singing in a concert last night (solo), then 10 people for supper after the concert. Then today I had another 10 people round for a pre-Christmas lunch. But at least I managed to fit in my run this morning before I started cooking. Can't wait for my next run and graduation!

  • Well done - especially in such a busy schedule!

  • Busy lady...but still finding time to run.. go you!

    PS

    What were you singing :)

  • I sing in a choral society. We were doing a mass by Haydn and Saint Saens' Christmas Oratorio. Singing and cooking are my two favourite hobbies, and now I'm adding running to the list. πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€“

  • Beautiful...:) I love singing..but have not sung in a choir for many years..cooking..I love...and painting..and of course running 😐

  • It was nice to be asked to do solos, as when I lost my hearing in one ear suddenly 2 years ago I was unable to pitch at all and thought I'd never be able to sing in tune again. I've had to work hard at it as I can't hear when there is background noise, and singing with a choir or orchestra is quite challenging. I got some lovely feedback too.

  • I don't know how you managed it, fantastically well done you .

  • That just sounds like a perfect weekend to me. Gym, music, friends, family, food and running! Very busy, but great fun. Well done Razouski can't wait to hear about your graduation run! Go girl, go! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»

  • What a busy life! At least running gets you some 'me' time.

I hope you have something special planned for graduation?

  • I haven't planned anything special, but perhaps I should...

  • Just one more run until graduation! Enjoy it.

  • I just had to do a double take after reading the line " gym....with my 81 year old dad....". Go him! I hope I'm still gyming it at that age 😊

It's a manic time of year isn't it? But good for you for getting the runs in. Exciting times πŸ€—

  • Since losing my mum last summer after 58 years of marriage (and a long spell of Alzheimer's) my Dad gradually began to start doing things for himself, bought a camper van in a January, started kayaking in May, has bought his own kayak and started going to the gym in September to improve his mobility and core strength. He's amazing really! πŸ˜€

  • He sounds it! Well done singing your solo and enjoy your w9r3 run. Nice feeling of accomplishment to have completed the programme before the year is out too.

  • "gym in the morning with my 81 year old dad" - dang, wish I had a daughter like you! :) With my lot I'll be lucky to see my next birthday let alone 81! :)
