I had to stop at week 5 with hip pain - i restarted week 5 - and found i could still do it so carried on.

I think i stretch for about the same amount of time as i run!

So now i can run 30-35 minutes

I am however very slow !

My best distance so far is 3k (i’m 50 in march)

Im a work in progress 😂

Don’t worry about being slow Mick197- it’s a gift! I’m the world’s slowest runner but as long as I’m running, that’s fine! The end of the plan gets you running non stop for 30 minutes - most people don’t get to 5k in that time - but it will come, never fear!

Well done, sounds like you are doing great. You’re not as slow as me. I’m on week 7 and still not doing 3k! Speed is really not important at this stage. It’s about increasing your stamina. You can start working on increasing speed when you’ve finished the programme, if that’s what you want. Good luck and happy running!

That’s more than fast enough, slow is the best way to do this
