So having completed W1 and finding the last run difficult, I was not looking forward to W2 with an added 30 seconds! The start of the run I felt great and could really feel my fitness improving as I wasnβt out of puff as quick as last week. The last 2/3 runs however were hard and I had to fight through it mentally as I felt like stopping π° but we got there in the end!
Started listening to podcasts instead of music and I feel it really does help better with taking your mind off things.
Iβve been cutting down on calorie intake and along with the first week of C25K Iβve managed to shed 10lbs! I should say however that I had been dieting for a few weeks before starting C25K so I didnβt lose 10lbs in just 1 week lol.
Onto W2R2 and the next 10lbs!!

Great job cfm200 for persevering! W1 is so tough!! If you are really struggling, try slowing down to π, more often then not i was overtaken by someone walking, which felt emabarassing in the beginning but then i thought, im already running twice as long as last week, etc. So be proud of what you are doing!π Good luck!
Hi cfm200! Well done on mentally pushing through. I havenβt tried listening to any podcasts yet, but lots of people recommend it, so maybe itβs the way forward. Happy running πββοΈππΌπ.
