This run felt good, weather mild no wind. I thought you can do this and I did. However halfway through I got a stitch but I ran that off like a 1970s footballer would run a broken leg off😉then last 5 minutes my bladder started😭. But when I heard that's it well done slow down I was pleasently surprised as it felt smooth compared to other runs.

Have you/are you enjoying your C25k journey so far?

Yes but it ain't been easy, Im not a sporty person plus I will be 50 this year,so for me this is an achievement as I hate running in public 😣

You know @C1578 that dislike of public running is so common on here with runners of all genders 👀🙈 ok so briefly I started and used to take myself away down the towpath, and run incognito 😎 hardly seeing a soul, but about week 6 I think I started moving closer to home, and now I don't give a hoot, neither should you, the runner blends in fairly discreetly 🥳 btw last time I looked I was a smidgeon older than yourself, so yep you're a youngster 😝.

And as for being non sporty you've just ran however fast or slow for 28minutes 👍👍

Go to the loo before you go. It is a common problem, mainly due to forgetfulness!I like to do a warm up with some torso twists and touching toes etc - this helps out any other loo issues....

BTW. Well done on your run. You've got this. Not long now. Then the fun really starts post graduation.

A smooth run, you’ve just run for 28 minutes, what an amazing achievement that is, week 9 runs are only 2 minutes longer, so you’ve got this now, all the way to graduation day.

Milder weather helps too, plus you’re just as tough as a 1970’s footballer if not tougher 😂. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏃‍♀️

This made me laugh CI578 ...before I set off, even if I don’t need to, I go for a wee and squeeze every last little drop out otherwise God knows what could happen 🤣🤣
